Powerful foundations for a transformational practice. Establish the correct technique for a focused and sustaining yoga journey.

New to yoga?  Familiar, but need a refresher?  “Return beginners” are always welcome!

This course runs twice weekly over 3 weeks (Saturdays and Tuesday evenings) in order to bring a substantial and noticeable transformation. 2nd – 19th of July 2022. Beginners Yoga Courses fill up fast – usually weeks before commencing – so book early.

We cover the essentials of a safe and effective yoga practice and introduce you to the key elements – yoga postures, breathing, meditation and deep relaxation.  Students who complete one of our beginners courses can feel confident to participate in the majority of Dunedin Yoga Studio’s regular classes.

Equipment: Comfortable clothing for movement. Either bring your own yoga mat or use one of ours and spray and wipe with our mat cleaner after use. All other yoga props are supplied as needed.

*NB: Beginners Course graduates are also eligible to get our “newcomer” deal at the end of the course: $39 for 3 weeks of unlimited classes to work on what you’ve learned!
