At The Dunedin Yoga Studio, we hold an authentic Yoga space for you to pause and recalibrate. We teach the yoga skills and principles to:

  • Work and (if necessary) heal the body correctly and safely – building strength, while developing flexibility and balance;
  • Focus the mind, be in the present and stand in your own mana;
  • Experience your inner self and realise the interconnectedness of all beings.
  • All this while enjoying an incredible vitality of body and mind and a fantastic crew of inspiring, committed practitioners.

Our experienced and compassionate teachers are here to watch and guide you on your yoga journey – whether you are an advanced practitioner or a complete novice. Co-owners Jessica and Rhys Latton are trained under master teacher Nicky Knoff in the rigour and power of traditional Iyengar and Astanga Vinyasa, and have both taught and practiced for over 20 years. All our teachers are dedicated yoga practitoners and love imparting the living stream of Yoga.

  2. Hi!

    I have been out of yoga for almost a year now and was looking to get back into it. I have just moved to Dunedin and will be here for a couple months.

    I was previously doing Kundalini yoga however I don’t believe you guys do this type specifically..

    Are any of your other classes similar to Kundalini!?

    • Kia ora Ruari, Rhys here. Welcome back to Dunedin! We don’t teach Kundalini yoga and I don’t know anyone who does in Dunedin. Probably best if you get our super cheap 3-week trial deal ($39 for unlimited classes) and try out all our classes to get a feel for what we teach. You can just turn up at our studio, pay by cash or eftpos and go from there. Namaste, Rhys Latton

  3. Hi there could you please let me know about the beginners yoga class starting in November. Thanks. Nat Cleaver

    • Kia ora Erika, Rhys here. Yes you’re welcome to come along for one of our evening classes tonight. $18 for a casual session – cash is best. Have you done much yoga before? Namaste, Rhys Latton

      • Thanks Rhys for your reply. I just read it, but luckily I found my way yesterday to your lovely yoga studio. Namaste, Erika

  5. Hi there,
    I was hoping to come along to your Thurs morn Hatha class. Is it ok to just turn up? I have done a wee bit of yoga in the past.
    Kind Regards,

  6. Kia Ora, I’m looking at starting up yoga as I have been told that it will help me during my pregnancy! I was wondering if you guys accommodate pregnancy people within your yoga classes? And what are the price range for new comers that you would recommend?

    • Kia ora Ana, Rhys Latton here – thanks for your message.
      Yoga will be great for your pregnancy. The best option for you straight off the bat is our Sunday pregnancy yoga class with practising midwife and specialist prenatal yoga teacher Niki East. Her next class is tomorrow 3-4:30pm and she is kind, warm, knowledgable and excellent! Just $18 for a casual or $90 for a block of 6 sessions. Turn up 10-15 minutes early to meet Niki, pay and get settled.
      Namaste, Rhys
